As the CEO of CIA FIRST International School, I am honored to lead our dedicated team alongside our supportive parent community and remarkable students. Together, we strive to fulfill our Vision: Student Learners Inspired to Become Empowered Global Citizens. This vision is supported by our Core Values: Creativity, Integrity, Perseverance, Respect, and Responsibility.
CIA FIRST International School comprises three campuses in Phnom Penh, with one new campus under construction. We are proud to serve 5,500+ students with 1,100+ local and international personnel. Founded in 2004 by His Excellency Oknha Dr. Trang Ly and Mr. Him Samath Sprung, we are the largest dual International and Khmer curricular group of schools in Cambodia.
Our commitment is to provide a holistic education that nurtures not only the academic skills but also the social and emotional well-being of our students. Our dedicated faculty and staff are passionate about creating a supportive and challenging learning environment where every student can thrive.

Dear Parents,
On behalf of CIA FIRST International, we sincerely value your trust in choosing our school for your child's education. We are extremely proud of our institution, and we believe that a parent's decision to enroll their child with us is the greatest compliment we can receive.
From our humble beginnings in 2004, we have grown significantly to three internationally accredited campuses, with one additional campus under construction, serving 5,500+ students with 1,100+ personnel from Cambodia and around the globe.
Choosing CIA FIRST for your child means they will join one of the largest international schools in Cambodia. We take great pride in the quality of education we provide and in the achievements of our graduates, who progress to pursue higher education in Cambodia and worldwide. Many of our students join us in Kindergarten, and it is a great pleasure to see them graduate from our High School years later with internationally recognized qualifications, ready to attend universities both locally and globally.
We are particularly proud of our dual International and Khmer curricula, which enable our students to earn both local and international qualifications whilst deepening their understanding of Khmer culture and language. Our schools offer an international English-speaking curriculum, as well as additional programs in French and Mandarin Chinese. Our Khmer curriculum elective, with workbooks developed by CIA FIRST for grades K5 through Grade 12, is recognized by the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport.
At CIA FIRST, we value diversity and global citizenship, as reflected in our faculty, which includes representatives from over 20 countries. We see this diversity of personnel as a valuable opportunity for our students to learn from teachers of various backgrounds, enhancing their educational experience and global competence.
CIA FIRST uses a standards-based curriculum supported by American academic standards – challenging, professionally validated academic standards. CIA FIRST has been awarded accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) for grades PK – 12. The Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport recognizes our international High School Diploma as equivalent to the National G12 Khmer curriculum Diploma.
We prioritize innovation through initiatives around parent engagement, environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and technology. We have highly active Parent Associations representing Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle, and High Schools.
