CIA FIRST International School - Russey Keo Campus celebrated its inaugural Family & Open Day today, opening its doors to hundreds of families for a day of fun, learning, and community connection under the theme “CIA FIRST, Where Dreams Come True.” The event combined a vibrant Family Day celebration with an Open Day experience, featuring a Family Talent Show, choir performances, energetic dances, and interactive activity booths —from STEM and Chinese Art activities to a Student Achievement Showcase.
As the newest addition to the CIA FIRST schools, the Russey Keo campus, which opened in August 2025, has quickly established itself as a school of choice thanks to strong leadership, modern facilities, and a rigorous curriculum that nurtures both academic and personal growth.
Dr. Daniel Mock, Head of School at Russey Keo, shared his excitement about the event: “Today was all about bringing our CIA FIRST community together. Seeing families, students, and staff connect, share talents, and celebrate achievements reminds us why we do what we do. We’re excited to continue this momentum as we welcome new students for the 2026–2027 academic year at Russey Keo High School, providing a seamless pathway from Kindergarten through High School.”
Mr. Heng Sinsiphat, a father of three students at CIA FIRST Russey Keo, shared his excitement about participating in Family Day and connecting with other parents. Regarding his children’s education, Mr. Siphat noted that his children have gained significantly more knowledge than before, as the teachers have provided excellent support, particularly in foreign language proficiency.
Similarly, Mrs. Riam, a mother of two students at the campus, joyfully remarked that the Family Day was a wonderful experience for her and her children. She highlighted the school’s organization of student talent performances, the beautiful campus decorations, and the lovely attire worn by the students. Regarding their studies, she admitted to having initial concerns, but the teachers at CIA FIRST Russey Keo helped her children transition smoothly into the new school environment, leading to noticeable improvements in their Mathematics and reading skills.
As for Ms. Hen Chandavy, initially, her youngest son in the K3 grade didn't want to come to class and only wanted to stay home. However, a few days later, her son, Oudom, really wanted to come to school. Oudom now speaks English with his older siblings and family, which sometimes really surprises them; he uses words from the classroom spontaneously when responding to us.
For example, when we sneeze and he is nearby, he says, "Bless you." When he needs help, Oudom says, "Help me." When asked why he isn't going to school today, he replies, "I’m sick," along with many other words that make his family wonder how—at just the K3 level—Oudom knows so much English. They all praise the school he attends, CIA FIRST International School, for building such a strong educational foundation.
The celebration concluded on a high note, reinforcing CIA FIRST Russey Keo Campus’s commitment to community and excellence.
