CIA FIRST Family & Open Day Brings Together Students, Parents, and CommunityCelebrating Tradition with a Fresh Twist at CIA FIRST

CIA FIRST International School hosted its annual Family Day on February 21, 2026, at the Sen Sok campus—this year with a fun twist: combining it with an Open Day for the first time. Thousands of parents, students, and staff came together to celebrate school spirit, connection, and community under the theme "CIA FIRST, Where Dreams Come True." The morning featured a family talent show, student and teacher choir performances, energetic dances, and family photo stations, creating joyful memories for everyone.

By combining Family Day with Open Day, CIA FIRST also gave prospective families a chance to see the community in action, exploring the campus and experiencing how students, teachers, and parents interact in everyday school life. Families interested in learning more are invited to discover upcoming programs and events.

Mr. Vladimir Sousek, Principal at the Sen Sok campus, described Family Day as a testament to the "strength and heart" of the CIA FIRST community. He emphasized that the event offers families a vital reprieve to reconnect through shared joy and performances. This year, the celebration was elevated by a fundraising initiative for the Bamboojaya Foundation, successfully merging school spirit with a commitment to social responsibility and the wider Cambodian community.

Ms. Laura Andrea Velasco Delizza praised the CIA FIRST Family Day for its unique ability to unite families and foster a vibrant, joyful community for the children. Beyond the event, she highlighted her son's remarkable development in the kindergarten program at CIA FIRST, attributing his growth to the school’s diverse and engaging curriculum.

Ms. Hun Morokot praised CIA FIRST Family Day as a vibrant event full of engaging activities for her two-year-old. Her husband, Mr. Chan Pheaktra, further commended the school’s academic excellence, highlighting the attentive faculty and the supportive presence of multiple assistant teachers in every classroom.

The day concluded as a resounding success, with shared laughter, excitement, and community pride. CIA FIRST thanks all parents, staff, and volunteers whose contributions made the day possible, and remains committed to creating platforms where families can bond, students can thrive, and dreams can begin to take shape.
